Graveyard Sacrifice Hallowe'en Photoshoot

  I had the wonderful opportunity to do a Hallowe'en themed photoshoot recently with my partner Whiskey Ginger, and fellow photog and aspiring alt model, Garden Delight (a.k.a. Angela).  We sat around drinking red wine and having snacks while discussing wardrobe and poses for awhile. I had painted a new backdrop specifically for the shoot the day before, so I knew the setting would be a graveyard, and I knew I wanted to use fake blood.  Other than those loose parameters, not much else was planned, but the chemistry was palpable.  

  As wine diminished and corsets were cinched, we settled into a cemetery sacrifice, and the blood flowed.  Above are the results.

Cumberland Cemetery

  I went to visit Cumberland's cemetery recently. It was charming and quaint, but also eerie, not in a graveyard sort of way, but more like and abandon town sort of way.  I took this opportunity to shoot some pictures with exposure bracketing and turned them into HDRs. I don't always edit/shoot this way, but in this case I found it fitting.
